From the waterfront hotel we were able to rent a boat to take us island hopping and see the other resorts located in the area. I was surprised at the many islands and resorts that were there that catered to beachfront swimming, snorkeling/scuba diving and fishing.
It was unfortunate that it was quite rainy during our stay that we were not able to fully enjoy it but I definitely would like to come back to the place.

walking distance to MacDonalds... a harrowing taxi ride to the nearest Bank and a lengthy wait for traveller's checks to be changed... nice pool on roof... no tours taken...

Getting around Davao was a experience. Jeepnies were fun to ride and a good bargin to get around town. Lots of sites to see, the shopping malls were fun to visit, lots of bargins and sales on the weekends.
